This directory lists BIPOC therapists who have agreed to our Statement of Values
This directory is meant to make your search for a BIPOC ( Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) therapist easier. Healing in Colour is not able to make any endorsements or guarantees regarding the practitioners listed. You are encouraged to visit their websites and ask them any questions you may have to determine that their services are the right fit for you.
HiC acknowledges that some of the language used below is and can be pathologising of people’s experiences and identities. As this is the language currently used in psychology, the general public accessing services may be using similar language to search for practitioners. HiC also acknowledges the historical, institutional, persistent harms of this language and welcome you to self-identify as much as possible. We welcome compassionate feedback to help us create language that is more inclusive and reflective of our communities. Please email admin@healingincolour.com with your suggestions.
