Bio: Wendy works with neurodivergent youth (15+), young adults, and adults. Wendy Tang (She/Her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling. She has over 10 years of experience supporting neurodivergent folks, including autistic individuals and ADHDers. With a background in both education and mental health, Wendy has worked extensively in school settings, where she supported neurodivergent young people in navigating academic, social, and emotional complexities. Wendy is passionate about providing neuro-affirming support that helps clients embrace their unique strengths and navigate life’s challenges. Her areas of focus include anxiety, life transitions, grief, emotional regulation, and supporting neurodivergent experiences such as burnout, masking, executive function challenges, and identity exploration. Wendy integrates evidence-based and strengths-based approaches, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness.
