Bio: *August 2025 update: I currently have a Restorative Rate slot of $50/60-minute session open, reserved for a QTBIPOC community-member resisting economic injustice. Please visit my website to complete my Session Rate Self-Assessment Tool and learn more!* We deserve radical healing, regenerative communion, living‑and‑breathing dignity, (un)yielding accountability, and revolutionary care! Dear one! From the roots at my feet; through the reverence in my belly; out the reach of my heart, head, and hands: welcome. This is the (re)beginning of a beautiful, important, difficult process… Perhaps you’ve been contemplating therapy for a long time. Or you may be nurturing a burgeoning curiosity. You might have tread this path before, searching for – and even finding – a certain type of connection, of co‑creation, of care. You could be re‑turning, re‑membering, re‑visioning. Or you may be finally, necessarily tending to an emotional, embodied, psychopoliticospiritual wisdom – an insistent yearning for the dignity and justice of healing and holding, of compassion and inquiry, of transformative communion and change. Maybe – until now – there wasn’t time, there wasn’t space for this sort of close and care‑full noticing and listening and feeling and grace. You might be wary or defiant, resolute then ambivalent, utterly exhausted by the prospect AND fiercely open – with critical but crucial hope – to all the possibility and purpose and paradox…and pain. Wherever you are right now, whoever you are right now: I’m so very honoured to be considered as a collaborator in your beautiful, important, difficult life’s work. And like you, I bring with me a gorgeously entangled lineage of living, labouring, loving selves – all of which will shape our work…in potent, moving, as yet unpredictable ways. Come for a consultation with hard questions that deserve whole answers – those that can unfold ONLY between you and me…in that alchemical specificity of ‘we’. For here, for now — so that you might feel safe enough to explore more and, perhaps, reach out — let me pull some threads to reweave at your feet… I am a mixed-race, second generation immigrant and settler — the daughter of a brown South Asian mother and white British father — with a nuanced, full-bodied attunement to the intergenerational and transcultural joys, struggles, sacrifices, tensions, and traumas experienced in diasporic, multiracial families. I speak Urdu (though not as fluently as I’d want) and was raised with deep connection to my Hyderabadi Indian, culturally Muslim roots — with gloriously (though not nearly consistently) radical values nurtured by a fierce matriarchal legacy of community-builders, changemakers, careworkers, and dissidents: the language of social justice is my mother tongue. My ways of being, relating, and healing are shaped by my liminal, intersectional experiences as a biracial body with (usually) white‑passing privilege; queer, non‑binary, crip femme and person; (once adolescent and single) mother and kinship guardian; cyclebreaker of complex and intergenerational trauma; and survivor of sexual and gender‑based violence. My therapeutic approach is radically ethical, relational, embodied, and intersectional – working with an expansive understanding of trauma as reciprocally psychic, emotional, physical, spiritual, ecosystemic, sociocultural, (trans)generational, and political. This is deeply just, emotion-, sensation-, and trauma-focused healing that BEGINS with YOUR safeness and readiness: grounded trust, courage, and consent enabled through relentless attunement and responsiveness. This is insistently care-full, experiential, co-creative work that emerges and resonates within and between us — right HERE and right NOW — through a radically present dance at the edges, undulations, and entanglements of living. So it is tenderly, persistently attuned to living-and-breathing: * Anti-Oppression * * Anti-Racism * * Anti-Colonialism * * Cultural Humility & Responsiveness * * Intersectional Feminism * * Reproductive Justice * * 2SLGBTQIA+ Liberation * * Neuroqueering * * Sex, Sex Work, Kink, Poly, & Body Positivity * * Dying with Dignity * * Self- & Collective Care * * Disability Justice & Anti-Ableism * * Harm Reduction * * Non‑Pathologisation & Anti‑Saneism * * Transformative Justice & Anti-Carceralism * As an integrative relational-somatic social worker and psychotherapist (MSW, RSW), I specialise in working holistically – body, mind, spirit, and system – with folx who are navigating the prismatic spectrum of life’s complexities, from birthing to dying, while embodying mixed-race, multi-ethnic, diasporic, non-binary, liminal, hybrid, borderland, transitional, divergent, queered, non-normative, and/or fluid experiences. I offer: – A fully transparent fee schedule that’s accountable to equity, access, and collective care — recognising this as shared responsibility and reparation. My 60-minute session fees range between $0-$160CAD, with $135 as my standard rate (see my website for current availability and my Session Rate Self-Assessment tool). – A free, 60-minute consultation session – because this choice MATTERS and THIS is where care begins. – Free, 30-minute check-ins at the three- and six-month marks, because feedback is so integral to the healing relationship and process. – Online therapy, with plans to move back to in-person work once this can be done ethically and safely. My lineage, lived expertise, therapeutic approach, clients/communities of focus, offerings and specialisation, fee structure, practice processes, and the path of radical care we might take together are outlined in explicit depth and breadth on my website – as an action of revolutionary transparency and accountability. If you feel moved to, come read (even) more about the possibilities of our regenerative, transformative, co-creative work!
