Bio: I’m Samer Dawood, a counsellor based in Vernon, BC. Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, my background has deeply shaped my understanding of identity, belonging, and the experience of navigating different cultures and expectations.
My work is grounded in creating a warm, honest space where people can slow down, feel understood, and not have to carry everything alone. I support people navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationships, cultural pressures, and the emotional weight of trying to hold it all together.
I offer counselling in English + Arabic, both online across BC and in person in Vernon.
