I’m Julie, a Registered Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in mental health. My approach to therapy is relational and collaborative, honouring you as the expert of your own life. I believe that each of us carries an innate capacity for resilience, growth, and healing, and that you already hold within you everything you need to thrive. Therapy, as I see it, is a process of co-creating a safe, supportive relationship where we can explore and nurture that potential. Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re experiencing, reconnect with the strengths and wisdom you already carry, and help you move toward meaningful, lasting change.
Before becoming a therapist, I was first a social worker with roots in anti-oppressive practice. This foundation continues to inform my therapeutic work as well as my relationship to people and the natural world. When I’m not in session, you can find me making art, cold water swimming, feasting with friends and spending time in the forest.
I would be honoured to accompany you wherever you are on your path to healing. If you would like to book a complimentary consultation, please view my availability here: https://julieludwigcounselling.janeapp.com/
