Bio: If you’re a South Asian woman in your 20s or early 30s, you might feel like you’re constantly walking a tightrope between who you are and who you’re expected to be. Maybe you’re dealing with anxiety that doesn’t quite go away, questions about your self-worth, dating/relationship challenges or guilt that seems tied to everything, from how you set boundaries, to how you show up in your family. Your day to day might also involve trying to keep everyone around you happy, all while quietly feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained. These struggles, whether they stem from cultural expectations, family dynamics, past traumas that still linger today or your own internalized standards, can make it hard to feel grounded. As a result you might engage in a lot of overthinking, people-pleasing, mindless scrolling, or just wondering why things still feel so heavy despite how much you’re trying. You’re not alone. Over the past 10 years of working in the mental health space, I’ve helped South Asian women navigate challenges and reconnect with their voice and values. As a South Asian therapist, I offer an empathetic, culturally aware and evidence-based therapy space. If this speaks to you, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.
