I help individuals, including parents and students, manage anxiety, ease perfectionism, and build self-confidence. Having immigrated to Canada from South Korea at age 2, and as a parent myself, I can understand how cultural transitions, family expectations, and identity issues affect mental health. My goal is to help clients find clarity, resilience, and lasting change.
In our work together, I integrate Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and attachment theory. We’ll explore your emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and gain insight into family-of-origin dynamics to foster deeper self-understanding and self-compassion.
I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen, heard, and safe. My role is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges, build on your strengths, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling. Together, we’ll explore what brought you to therapy and determine the most appropriate ways to support your goals, taking into account your unique cultural background, lived experience, and personal values.
If you’re ready, take the first step towards healing by reaching out today. Together, we can begin creating the change you seek.
