I work with adults navigating people-pleasing, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, self-esteem, relationships, family of origin concerns, and cultural or family expectations. Many of the people I work with are trying to understand how their family experiences, culture, identity, relationships, or roles have shaped the way they respond to others and to themselves.
My approach is warm, curious, relational, and culturally responsive. Rather than jumping straight to advice or strategies, I like to understand the bigger picture first. Together, we might explore patterns in your relationships, what you learned in your family of origin, the expectations you carry, and how certain coping strategies may have helped you protect things like connection, belonging, approval, safety, identity, or cultural belonging.
Therapy can be a space to understand these patterns with more curiosity and less judgment, while thinking about what still fits, what feels important to hold onto, and what you might want to do differently.
My hope is that our work helps you understand yourself more deeply, build greater self-trust, communicate more openly, and make choices that feel more aligned with who you are.
I offer virtual individual therapy to adults across Ontario.
