
I am a person-centered and trauma-informed counsellor who has had the pleasure of providing counselling services to a diverse range of populations, such as young adults, LGBTQ+ folks, people in non-traditional relationship structures (polyamory), BIPOC, children of immigrants, and folks with depression and/or anxiety. I enjoy using a collaborative process so that means working with the unique experiences and knowledge you bring into the session. You will be a part of shaping the session in a way that works best for you. Our sessions together will consist of working with your emotions, thoughts, and behaviours through methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, self-compassion, and emotion regulation techniques. I like to tailor my approach to each individual while working from an evidence-based background. My hope is that through our work together you will find the insight and skills to create a path that aligns with you.
