I specialize in supporting adult children of immigrants (1st and 2nd generation) and BIPOC women, queer and neurodivergent adults (ages 18–55) who are navigating chronic stress, burnout, identity strain, and the quiet exhaustion that often comes from holding multiple worlds at once.
Many of the people I work with are:
– Highly capable, caring, and insightful — yet deeply tired
– Carrying unspoken grief, guilt or responsibility connected to family, culture or survival
– Living with ADHD &/or Autism and trying to make sense of burnout, overwhelm, masking or self-doubt
– Questioning how to honour their needs, boundaries and values without losing connection to others
My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, neurodiversity-affirming and anti-oppressive. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you — it’s about slowing down, listening closely, and making sense of what your body, emotions and patterns have learned in response to your life.
I support clients in exploring:
– The emotional and relational impacts of immigration, displacement and intergenerational trauma
– Identity development at the intersections of culture, queerness, neurodivergence, gender and race
– Chronic stress and burnout, including vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, ethical pain, and work-related overwhelm
– ADHD and Autism across adulthood, including masking, nervous system overload and self-trust
– Relationship patterns, boundaries, communication and conflict — especially during separation, divorce or significant breakups
– Living with chronic illness, chronic pain, and the grief that can accompany changes in capacity
I aim to offer a therapy space that feels grounded, collaborative and human — where you don’t have to over-explain yourself or perform wellness. Together, we work toward greater clarity, self-compassion, and sustainable ways of living that honour both your inner world and the systems you move through.
I currently offer virtual individual counselling to clients living in Ontario, Nova Scotia and Alberta, with equitable and accessibility-informed fee options designed to offer mental health care that is both humane and sustainable.
