Bio: I am both a relationship therapist that works with individuals, couples, and families as well as a somatic therapist. The therapy I offer often focuses on the experiences you may have within the relationships in your life as well as the deeper experiences you may also have within your body as you navigate various life circumstances and your body’s responses to those circumstances.

As someone born and raised in several parts of Africa before moving to Canada, I am also committed to providing compassionate, culturally meaningful care that considers both the whole person and the different identities a person may be navigating or making sense of. My work is grounded in anti-oppressive approaches that are identity-affirming as well as 2SLGBTQI+ affirming.

I support clients who feel stuck or unsure about the path they’re on in life as well as those who find it difficult as they navigate times of transition or change in their lives. I also support those dealing with challenges in one or more of the relationships in their life, day-to-day stress, emotional overwhelm, burnout, loss or grief, as well as painful or distressing past experiences.

Additionally, I work with couples and families looking for a supportive place to talk about difficult topics and those hoping to find both effective and meaningful ways to work through times of stress, conflict, or change together. For couples, I also offer premarital counselling or “relationship tune-ups” for fine tuning your use of key relational strategies while learning more about how to navigate the realities of maintaining a healthy, well-functioning, long-term relationship.

Depending on what brings you to therapy, our sessions can be tailored to help you work towards processing and resolving emotional, relational, or traumatic forms of distress while also supporting your unique journey to a greater sense of clarity, capacity, connection with both self and others.

Ultimately, creating meaningful change can feel empowering and deeply satisfying. My hope is that as we work together, you can see and feel the impact of positive change in your life.
