Bio: I believe connection is the gateway to understanding ourselves, our relationships, and our past. Through a collaborative process, I specialize in supporting individuals through life transitions, identity exploration, and emotion regulation as they define a meaningful life for themselves. I offer a nurturing, safe, and honest environment to explore the challenges in your life. We’ll work together to identify patterns and gain insight and clarity. I aim to build a genuine connection with you and create an atmosphere where you feel seen. I will meet you with warmth, curiosity, and empathy. As a Filipino immigrant and woman of color, I bring a unique perspective to our work, grounded in cultural sensitivity and person-centered, trauma-informed care. My work is informed by an intersectional feminist and anti-oppressive framework, acknowledging that we exist and interact within complex systems of power and privilege. I integrate approaches like Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to foster self-awareness, emotional resilience, and self-agency, using these tools to meet you where you are. I also draw on somatic techniques to help deepen your internal awareness. I will be beside you as you come to know yourself more fully and take meaningful steps toward building the relationships you desire, with yourself and with others, and the life you envision. You are welcome here. I offer in-person sessions in Burnaby, near Brentwood Mall, and virtual sessions across British Columbia. Whenever you’re ready, feel free to contact me if you have questions or would like to set up a time to meet.
