Bio: I am Caro [Ka-ro] a migrant of colour, living on indigenous land. I honour the land and the peoples of the land where I live and call home. Cultivating an understanding of myself, the multiple intersections that hold me, developing self-awareness and recognizing historical and present systems of disadvantages and privileges informs my therapy container and the interventions I engage in as I journey with my clients. What does one’s experience mean for the collective and how does the collective experience impact generation after generation? What is systemic power and how does it impact one’s body, mind and spirit? How does one’s belief system impact their mental health and day-to-day life?
