I align with and often work well with:
· creatives and artmakers,
· folks who have been deemed “too emotional”, “too much”, or “highly sensitive”; seen as “weird”, “different”, or have been othered for existing outside the dominant social scripts,
· sexual/gender diverse experiences and neurodivergent experiences,
· those experiencing (chronic) suicidality and self-harm,
· intergenerational and complex trauma – especially with those who are nervous about exploring these themes!
I enjoy working creatively and curiously through expressive arts, weaving in somatic (body-based) explorations, and introducing new ways of understanding ourselves through parts work. For folks seeking skill-building or more structured learning, I like using DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy). In all of these, my practice is rooted in an anti-capitalist, abolitionist, and Disability Justice-informed framework that looks beyond individual “fixing”, and towards ways of being that honour the full spectrum of who you are.
