Hook or Crook
Bio: I’m Nic, founder of Hook or Crook Consulting.
I bring a heart-centered approach, draw on my breadth of expertise and lived experience, and generate a unique set of services for my clients.
From policy analysis and facilitation to stakeholder engagement and values alignment, I balance a pragmatic awareness of the strategic, operational and governance priorities and challenges in organizations, while centering the visionary goals of transformative justice, bell hook’s love ethic, and survivor-first orientations rooted in the anti-violence movement.
I am co-host of the podcast Seen, and have gratefully served as a board member at Healing in Colour Directory, and WISH Drop-in Centre Society. I live as an uninvited guest on Coast Salish Territories and hold a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts in Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice Studies from the University of British Columbia.
