My practice is rooted in brave explorations of identity, self-discovery and authentically. I believe the arts can serve as a powerful medium for personal transformation and collective well-being and I’m passionate about supporting my clients to feel empowered by their own abilities and connected to their own sacred resources.
Expressive Arts Therapy (EXA) is a low-skill, sensory modality that offers an alternative to traditional talk therapy. Don’t worry, you don’t need to have any artistic abilities. It’s for those open to learning how the arts can be used as a tool for regulating, self discovery and emotional release. Through the use of EXA we can nurture our artistic growth, practice decolonization and dream up ways to make the world a better place as we move towards joy and ease.
I work with all beings, identities and cultural backgrounds with a focus on BIPOC and LGBTQ+ adults navigating racialized and diasporic challenges.
I invite curiosity and playfulness and welcome you to a non-judgemental space that allows you to slow down, explore emotions, experiences and whatever else needs to show up. Together we will cultivate practices that work for you as an individual and deepen your understanding of your inner world.
