Bio: Clients often tell me they feel a sense of calm and ease in our sessions—a place where they can slow down, take a breath, and begin to reconnect with themselves. I bring warmth, curiosity, and humour into the room, creating space for both the difficult moments and the moments of lightness that help us move through them.

I especially value creating space for people who have felt caught between different versions of themselves, or who are trying to find a sense of home within themselves: the sensitive ones in the family, the ones who can sense the tension in a room, the ones who try hard to keep the peace and take care of others even when they are exhausted themselves. Those among us also need a space where our feelings and needs matter, a space where our own healing is front and center.

I grew up between cultures, immigrating to Canada from Pakistan with my family as a child. My own experience of navigating identity, family expectations, belonging, and different cultural worlds has shaped the way I understand the many layers people carry.

I have been a Registered Clinical Counsellor since 2015, supporting people through a wide range of experiences—from life transitions and relationship challenges to trauma, anxiety, and patterns that have been carried for years. My advanced training includes attachment, family systems, trauma-informed care, EMDR, Janina Fisher’s Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment, AEDP, and the Satir Transformational Systemic Model.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens through relationship. Together, we can slow things down, make sense of what you carry, and create space for meaningful change—while honouring the strengths, wisdom, and resilience that have been there all along.
