Kristyn is a Red River Métis social worker whose work is deeply shaped by her identity and the value she places on connection, community, and understanding. She supports youth and young adults who are navigating life transitions, identity, and the often-messy process of figuring out who they are and where they’re going.
With over eight years of experience across counselling, community, and educational settings, Kristyn brings a calm, steady presence to her work. She creates a space where clients can slow down, feel heard, and begin to make sense of their experiences in a way that feels safe and respectful.
Her approach is grounded in trauma-informed, holistic, and strength-based care. Kristyn walks alongside her clients as they build resilience, explore their stories, and move through change with greater clarity and self-trust.
Her background includes studies in criminology, family social science, and social work, with ongoing graduate work in interdisciplinary education. She continues to deepen her learning in areas such as trauma, crisis support, grief and loss, and culturally grounded approaches to care.
