Bio: Hello, I’m Jenny Hsu, a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Vancouver, BC. I offer bilingual counselling in English and Mandarin for individuals, partners, and families. As a Taiwanese, queer, BIPOC therapist, I understand how culture, identity, and family expectations can shape our emotional experiences and relationships.

Many of the folx I work with are navigating the complexities of living between cultures. You may be struggling with family expectations, communication challenges in relationships, or feeling caught between your personal values and the cultural norms you grew up with. I often support clients from Asian and immigrant communities, as well as queer and LGBTQ+ folx who are exploring identity, belonging, and authentic ways of living.

In our work together, I aim to create a respectful and collaborative space where you can slow down, understand your emotions, and make sense of patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My approach is attachment-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, and I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and other evidence-based approaches to help clients build stronger emotional connections with themselves and others.

I provide individual, relationship, and family counselling in Vancouver and online across BC.
I am currently accepting new clients and offer flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend appointments.
