Mindful Wellness

Bio: Life can be challenging. You may feel anxiety, sadness, guilt, grief, shame, or are unable to let go of a painful experience. These feelings can be overwhelming and absorb your thoughts, affect sleep, physical or mental health, ability to connect with others, or capacity to focus and learn. You might blame yourself or have self-critical thoughts. This can feel isolating and heavy, getting in the way of living a full, happy, and authentic life, in accord with your values and needs. If you want to connect with your compassionate and wise self, and live with more happiness, ease, and connection with others, please take this step & reach out.

My psychotherapy approach to healing & restoration is integrative, tailored to each client; it’s based on cultivating self-compassion & grounded in research, awareness-building & mindfulness; it’s culturally sensitive. Mindfulness & self-compassion skills are not easy yet they are effective to support yourself, especially the wounded or unseen/unheard parts.

I discovered mindfulness, compassion, and somatic healing work in my journey of recovery from stressful work, societal & family environments. These approaches along with ecodharma and climate justice work have sustained me & with them I empower clients to learn how to cultivate compassion for themselves, connect with community and nature, and build mindfulness, emotional balance & autonomy. To learn more, email me for a 15-minute consultation or introductory session.
