Located In: Vancouver
Session Format: In-person, Online, Telephone

Bio: First and foremost, I want to meet and connect with you as a person. I know therapy can feel intimidating or even a little weird at first — that’s normal. My job is to make it feel like a real conversation, not an interrogation.

I want to be a witness and collaborator in helping you figure out how to live in a way that actually feels like you, without all the guilt or second-guessing. This means working together to create real change, honouring you where you are with honesty, openness and warmth and fostering a positive relationship between you and your emotions. I work through a trauma informed and anti-oppressive framework to help you connect with yourself beyond the negative cultural messaging that may have shaped (or hurt) you.

Growing up in Vietnam with the privilege of a Western education, my immigration journey and bicultural background help me understand the nuances of cultural shifts and differences, as well as the struggle that comes with the navigating identity shaped by the influences of these cultures. This has helped me connect with clients in discussing subjects such as intergenerational trauma, life transitions, relationships and sex, and LGBTQ2IA+ affirming support among others. Let’s connect and discuss what the perfect therapy process looks like for you!
