Bio: Aacho! I’m Zarifa (she/her). I’m a second-generation immigrant located on the traditional lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. As a counsellor (MPCC-p) with a background in somatic work, I support people through life transitions, identity questions, grief, and the tender work of making meaning from change. Having navigated my own experiences of cultural identity and belonging, I know how complex it can feel to move between different worlds. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally aware, and grounded in parts work and the wisdom of the body. When words aren’t enough, I invite creativity and felt-sense exploration to guide the process. Above all, I offer a compassionate space to return to self—to honour the truths that make you, and to listen for the ancestral wisdoms that move quietly through.
