Bio: Hey, I’m Rebca (she/her), I hope to invite my clients to curiously look at the “problem” alongside me. With a hope to uncover something interesting and helpful about you, your child or family! I am a registered Play Therapist and look forward to utilizing creativity during sessions with your child to encourage self-expression and discovery. This will help us navigate the tricky challenges. I aim to provide a soft landing place—a supportive environment that honours your family’s collective wisdom. Together, we’ll collaborate, drawing upon your unique insights and strengths. While I have a passion for using Play Therapy and supporting concerns relating to family life, I have extensive experience supporting individuals of all ages and with a range of presenting concerns including grief, serious illness, anxiety, life transitions, sleep, stressors, trauma, and relationships. I am a current contractor with WCB and support individuals looking to return to work after they face a work related injury or obstacle. As a person of colour, I strongly believe in making therapy a space that is safe and welcoming to people who look like me. I am dedicated to working with BIPOC folks and using my lived and professional experience to hold space for others to feel seen and heard. In my free time, I enjoy eating delicious food, trying to be artsy, goofing around with my boys (husband, son, cat), being out in nature, and hanging out with family & friends. I’m a Registered Clinical Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Work and a Registered Play Therapist with the Association for Play Therapy. I began my Clinical work in 2015. Prior to joining Craft Psychology, I operated in private practice as Sprout Counselling for 4 years. I am an EMDR trained clinician.
