Bio: Hi, I’m Premala (Lala). My approach to therapy is shaped by the ways I’ve moved through the world: with both power and marginalization, with personal and collective pain, and always with a deep belief in the possibility of healing and liberation. If you’re here, I imagine you might be navigating something that feels heavy, stuck, painful, or confusing. Maybe you’re trying to understand how systemic oppression has shaped your inner world. Maybe you’re longing for change — in your relationships, in your body, in how you show up for yourself. You’re not alone. Therapy can be a place to lay some of that down and to begin (or continue) the work of coming home to yourself. In my practice, I hold space for QTBIPOC folks and others living at the intersections of systemic harm. I believe that healing is not separate from justice — that therapy, when it’s done with intention, is political and liberatory. I work relationally and collaboratively, and I pay attention to how power, trauma, identity, and resilience live in the body and the psyche. Together, we can explore what it might mean for you to live with more ease, clarity, and alignment. If this resonates with you, I’d be honoured to connect.
