Bio: As a woman of color with a deep understanding of trauma—both through education and lived experience—My practice is dedicated to supporting individuals navigating family systems and race-based trauma. My journey into counseling began over 30 years ago when I first recognized the limitations of traditional therapeutic approaches that lacked cultural sensitivity. This experience motivated me to pursue a career where I could truly see and support others. I specialize in various modalities, including family systems work, PARTS work, somatic therapy, Gestalt therapy, CBT, and DBT. My sessions are designed to be collaborative and client-centered. I incorporate grounding and meditative exercises and offer tools that empower you on your healing journey. Each session is tailored to your needs, with no pressure to engage in exercises unless you feel ready. It’s an honor to walk alongside BIPOC individuals & folks in their healing processes. If you’re interested in exploring this work together, I invite you to schedule a complimentary call through my website. Let’s see if we’re a good fit! I reside on the occupied and unceded land of the ʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations, colonially known as Vancouver, Canada. As I embrace and appreciate the richness of this land, I am reminded of the stewardship, community, and sovereignty that thrived here long before me. I am deeply grateful to engage in healing work as a means of liberation for ALL. Please check out native-land.ca to see whose lands you are on.
