Bio: Dr. Gina Mowatt is a member of the Gitxsan Nation. They have been a RCC since 2023 and have worked exclusively within their home community since then. Gina draws on IFS models, Somatic experiencing and anti-colonial resistance frameworks to meet clients in their humanity and dignity. Gina has experience working with folks who have been experiencing colonial violence in its many different forms, and comes into relationship with clients to witness their power and strength. Lovingly connecting to the parts of us that bring shame, fear, terror even, isolation, disconnection, can help us to learn and be curious about ourselves and honour the ways we’ve adapted to survive.
