Pronouns: he/him/his
Located In: Vancouver
Session Format: Online

Bio: Hi there, I take an anti-oppressive, person-centred (Humanistic) and postmodern approach. Sometimes I will provide an art directive and sometimes I will leave the session completely open for you to create whatever needs to be expressed (open studio). No previous art experience is necessary! Art therapy is about the process, not perfection. I believe that you have the ability to bring the change you seek. You are the expert on your life and you have the power to take the session wherever you want. We will work together to find how much structure you require on your healing/growth journey. I will lend my ears, knowledge, and skills to help you reach your goals. A little about me: I have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Art Education from the University of Victoria. I have also received a postgraduate level diploma in Art Therapy from the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. I have completed the San’yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training focusing on mental health, aligning with my values of working toward reconciliation. As a member of the queer and BIPOC community, I understand many of the struggles we face and will be non-judgmental when listening to your unique and personal experiences/challenges. Please visit my website to learn more about myself and my practice. If you think we would be a good fit, please book a free 15-min consultation so we can get to know each other. Please note I currently only offer online art therapy. Professional member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association #64093793
