Bio: Relational-Affirming – Attachment-Based – Mind with Body Connection. EMDR – Lifespan Integration (LI) – Internal Family System (IFS) I acknowledge that I live and work as an uninvited guest on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples—Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. Registered Clinical Counsellor Location: Vancouver Hello and welcome. In our work together, I will walk alongside you as a supportive ally in your healing and self-discovery. I will meet you where you are at and hold your experiences with curiosity and care. I work alongside individuals navigating overwhelming experiences (such as trauma), mental health challenges, substance use, and stress-related concerns. My relational, person-centered approach is rooted in compassion, creating a welcoming and inclusive space where you feel seen, heard, and known. Experiential and somatic approaches are woven in to support body regulation, healing from overwhelming experiences, and moving toward secure attachment. At the heart of my work is a deep belief in our innate capacity to heal and grow. Before private practice, I dedicated 15 years in public education, public health, and frontline mental health and substance use services. These experiences provided a strong foundation for my counselling work, shaping my compassionate, well-rounded approach to supporting individuals. Therapeutic Approaches: I am trained in EMDR and Lifespan Integration (LI level 3) and integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS 2) into my practice. My approach is body-centered, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive, drawing on principles from polyvagal and attachment theories. The lenses I work through include Anti-Oppressive Practices, a Relational-Cultural approach, and a Trauma-Informed approach.
