Tarot for the QTBIPOC

My name is Asali and I’m a Black queer femme on land historically stewarded by the Akokisa, Karankawa, Esto’k Gna, Atakapa-Ishak, Coahuiltecan, and Mascogo peoples. I created this space for myself and those in my community to journey together as we intentionally practice radical co-healing in a world that is sustained by our marginalization. Moved by the light of ancestor Audre Lorde, I affirm that when we take the time to seek for ourselves means of nourishment and elevation, when we take the time to prioritize caring for our mind, body, and spirit, we practice a radical act of resistance. My practice is rooted in the truth that self-care is community care. I believe that making space to heal ourselves helps us do better the work that heals our communities. To be clear, this is not the work of isolation; we live in relationship and thrive in reciprocity and give from the overflow in our wells.
